Yes this blog still exists...

Well I knew it had been a while since I posted a blog entry but really had no idea that my last real entry was early December. A lot has happened in the last eight weeks. Landon celebrated his second birthday, Christmas, New Years, Molly has had her 2 month and 4 month check up and Jeff and I took a short trip to Orlando minus all three kids. These events have taken place in between the monotonous day to day diaper changes, butt wiping, time outs, feedings, bathing and night time awakenings by all three kids. Having three really is no different than having two except it IS one more mouth to feed, one more hiney to wipe, one more body to wash, one more person to take care of in the middle of the night. BUT is is also one more smile to see, one more squeal to hear, one more little one to snuggle with, one more set of ears to sing to. I am trying not to wish this time away because as we all know it goes by way too fast. I don't remember who but a wise person said it best.... the days are long but the years are fast. Isn't this so true!? I find my days to be rather long of issuing time outs, trying not to yell and breaking up fights amongst the boys and yet I know when they are older I will miss the chubby little hands, the baby teeth and being needed so much. I'll think when they are older how easy it was to discipline them as toddlers compared to tweens and how if only I knew then how easy it was compared to the problems we will sure to encounter as they grow into young adults. I feel like I complain a lot but it does feel better to get it out of my mind and prayer is something I do more now than I ever have before. I will be sure to blog about those things listed above one at a time and hopefully start to blog at least once a week which has always been my goal. Although as I type that I know that it's unlikely but one can always dream......

Thankful Thursday

Molly's Stats

At her one month check up this baby girl proves to be a big baby girl weighing in at 10 pounds 10 ounces (86%) and 23 1/4 inches long (98%) and a head circumference in the 90th percentile. She like her brothers was diagnosed with reflux and colic and started on prevacid which will hopefully make her more comfortable but she really still is much better than her brothers but she is coughing, gagging and choking so much the pediatrician fears she may aspirate and advised starting medications. She got her second Hep B vaccine and Hayden got flu mist and Landon his flu shot and everyone was so well behaved at the doctors office and the only tears was literally 5 seconds from Molly. I was shocked Landon didn't make a peep when he got his vaccination.
