Taggies and Tee pee's

Well last week I participated for the first time in a consignment sale that occurs several times a year. Kids stuff consignment. I decided to try and sell a few things but primarily wanted to cosign in order to get in to preview night to have first dibs on all the god stuff. I got Hayden the majority of his summer wardrobe. (had already gotten some from Connor and Carson hand me downs which we always love) then I got a tee pee and a baseball cap which were a great hit. Hayden is just like Jeff when he was a toddler. Apparently Jeff always wore a baseball cap and Hayden took a liking to his bargain cap. Hayden loves going into the tee pee and playing hide-n-seek. A new favorite. I also got his Halloween costume for the fall (stay tuned to see what it is) and some curtains for the basement. So you can see all the things that i can rattle off... 31 items purchased for $137 but I only sold $18 worth of stuff. So that leaves me with less than the desired outcome where my old things were suppose to pay for the new things. Oh well I love consignments and yard sales and good bargains so this Saturday its on to the next consignment sale in J town but I won't be selling this time just buying.

Oh and this is the blanket mom made that Hayden has attached himself to. He sleeps with this and likes to play hide and seek with the blankie as well. I have been wanting him to get a "lovie" since he was about a year so I was excited when he finally found one although this wasn't the blanket I was trying to get him hooked on. My mom cut up her robe that had a moon on it and made it into a taggie blanket that is smaller but he didn't seem to take to it like this one with elephants. I remember when I was little having my favorite blankie only to have my mom cut it into many smaller pieces for me to carry around so I wasn't dragging a dirty blanket along the floor. Good thought but once she cut it up I was devastated and wanted nothing to do with it. Guess that's a good thing or else I might be carrying around a dirty blanket while seeing patients at work.
