Jeff, Hayden and I ventured to Northern Kentucky (despite my being 38 weeks pregnant) to visit his brother Keith and wife Emily, who just had their first baby, Avery. He looks just like his daddy and was so tiny. I can't remember Hayden being that small although he was a few ounces smaller when he was born. Hayden looked so big next to his baby cousin. He was very interested in Avery and was very concerned when he would cry. Hayden was very gentle and only touched on the baby's feet. It will be interesting to see how Hayden responds to his own baby brother or sister. Keith and Emily are dealing with the sleepless nights and pure exhaustion that goes along with being the parents of newborns. Jeff and I will be experiencing this right along side them in just a few hours.
