Another Trip to the Zoo

A couple of weeks ago we went to the zoo with Erin and her two boys, Aidan and Connor. Hayden and Aidan had a good time together and enjoyed eating cheese puffs and playing with the big black water ball. Both boys were soaked after splashing in the water before we left. We stripped them down and changed clothes at the exit. Hayden was wet all the way down to his diaper. It's funny how you go to the zoo to see the animals but yet they loved all the non animal attractions ( merry go round, water ball, safari van and pushing chairs around the patio while we ate lunch). We stopped in a shaded mulch area and Aidan and Hayden played on the rocks while Erin feed Connor a cold bottle which he seemed to enjoy on this warm day. Out of nowhere some creature (likely a bird) flew overhead and went to the bathroom on Erin's arm. Of all people for this to happen too. We immediately disinfected with diaper wipes and continued on our way. All three kids were well behaved and it was nice to get out and enjoy this summer weather before colder temperatures become the norm.
