Dancin in the Rain

Hayden loves, loves, LOVES, to play outside. What kid doesn't. I promised Hayden we could go outside to play once we finished eating dinner. Well in comes the rain clouds and out comes the rain. If you could see the disappointment on his face. I asked him what's wrong and his response was "oh no, it rainin outside... we not go out play now" I thought for a second and though why not go out and play. Yes it's raining but why let that stop us. So outside we went to dance in the rain but first we needed something. An umbrella? No. Rain boots? No. Rain coat? No. Shower caps? Yes! Yep your read that right. Shower caps! Or as Hayden calls it a cap hat. Jeff and I had just gone to Horseshoe casino for a birthday weekend and I was super bummed to see they didn't have shower caps in the room so I phoned housekeeping and they brought me two. So my shower cap that I have had for years from some long forgotten hotel that had a rip in it was tossed away and in it's place is two brand new cap hats. We donned out hats and took off our shoes and soaks and went dancing in the rain. Hayden (and I) had so much fun. We splashed in puddles, caught rain drops on our tongue and yes we danced. All the while my freshly washed, straightened, defrizzed hair stayed just as it was.
