The day before he was kneeling and peering over the rail so Jeff had lowered the mattress and the next day I walk in and find him standing up and just grinning with his latest accomplishment. Slow down baby boy, your growing up to fast.
I know he is trying his hardest to keep up with that big brother of his but I am just wanting to stay in the here and now. I love the ages they are right now. How Hayden is the protective big brother watching over Landon making sure his needs
are met... mommy he wans you ta pick em up, mommy he's tired, mommy he's wanna bottle, mommy he not wanna go da bed. And then there's Landon wanting to do everything his big brothers doing, wants to crawl right up next to him, wants to pull up on the couch and put his face right in front of Hayden's as he lays down. I told Jeff just the other day as we were riding in the car, both boys cooing and talking to each other; Hayden baby talking and making his brudder laugh. I said to Jeff "ya know before long it's gonna be 'He's touching me.... he's lookin at me, he took my toy, he hit me, he won't share'" Jeff's response was it will be no time before are kids are grown and gone at at that point we will miss all the cooing and bickering and just hoping they visit us as much as we see our parents.
